Key Characteristics
- Appearance: They possess the classic zebra pattern of blue/purple and silver/gold horizontal stripes running from gill to tail, but are distinguished by their elongated, delicate, and flowing fins. They typically grow to about 2 to 3 inches in length.
- Behavior: These are highly social and energetic fish that thrive in groups. They should be kept in schools of at least six individuals to encourage natural schooling behavior and reduce stress or potential fin-nipping of other species. They are active swimmers and will utilize all levels of the aquarium.
