Shipping Zones and Rates:

Shipping rates are applied at checkout based on your shipping address.  Below are the shipping zones and corresponding rates:

• Zone 1: Northern California — $49

• Zone 2: Southern California — $89

• Zone 3: Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Nevada, Utah, Arizona — $99

• Zone 4: Montana, Wyoming, Colorado, New Mexico, Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas, Nebraska, South Dakota, North Dakota — $109

• Zone 5: Minnesota, Iowa, Missouri, Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Tennessee, Kentucky, Illinois, Wisconsin, Indiana, Michigan, Ohio, West Virginia, Maryland, Pennsylvania, New York, New Jersey, Maine, Massachusetts, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Delaware, Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Florida, Alabama — $119

Shipping to Hawaii (requires the purchaser to acquire a permit) and Puerto Rico are both available through Southwest Air Cargo. Please contact Lynda at 915-257-5334 to place your order and get a quote for shipping.

ADD-ON ITEMS & SHIPPING

To help keep shipping costs reasonable for our customers, certain dry goods, foods, medications, and aquarium supplies are offered as Add-On Items and are intended to be shipped with a live fish order. These products can be added to any qualifying Discus or livestock shipment at little or no additional shipping cost. Orders consisting solely of Add-On Items may not qualify for our standard shipping rates and may require additional shipping charges. If you wish to purchase Add-On Items without livestock, please contact us for a custom shipping quote before placing your order.

Shipping Methods:

  1.  UPS Next Day Air:

    • Available Shipping Days: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday.
    • Delivery: Next business day delivery via UPS.
    • Packaging: Each fish is individually bagged four times with oxygen, with all bags wrapped in a catch-all bag for added security. Heat packs are included to maintain a warm environment, and the package is placed in a styrofoam-lined box to ensure the discus arrives safely.

  2.  Southwest Air Cargo (Airport-to-Airport):

    • Available Shipping Day: Thursday unless request is made with Lynda at 916-257-5334
    • Delivery: Same-day delivery to your nearest airport via Southwest Air Cargo.
    • Packaging: Similar to UPS, each fish is securely packaged with multiple layers of protection, heat packs, and a styrofoam-lined box for optimal safety during transit.

Processing Time:

  • A minimum of 24 hours is required to process your order. This processing time allows us to meticulously prepare your discus for the journey, ensuring that all packaging is secure and that your fish arrives in the best possible condition.

Important Notes:

  • We carefully monitor weather conditions to ensure the safety of your discus during transit. In the event of extreme temperatures or severe weather, we may delay shipping to protect the health of your fish.
  • Please ensure that someone is available to receive the shipment upon delivery. We cannot be responsible for delays or issues arising from unattended packages.
